Delicious sandwiches with an overwhelming choice of filings. Due to Covid-19 only 4 people are allowed in the store at a time. It would speed up order taking if the menu was available to see before arriving at the counter.They only take cash here.

I'm not sure all of you will understand the term foodgasm, but absolutely incredible, The Price is Right ingredients are fresh. the service with a smile as well. An absolute must visit when in Penticton

Authentic European delicatessen stocked with goodies such as Ritter Sport and even Mozart confectionery from Salzburg, Austria. Best of all is their full-service sandwich bar, which offers dozens of choices of mouth-watering meats, gourmet cheeses, and then vegetables according to your palate, including the perfectly brined pickled pepperoncini peppers for a great value!A local's favourite and a must-try for visitors, don't skimp and get yourself a stacked deli sandwich; it's worth every penny!!!

I wish I had Il Vecchio in every town I ever visited. Man, was it just what I needed. I hope it doesn't get greedy and start overcharging. Just please, don't change. I wouldn't say they're cheap, it's definitely a bill, but it's right where it needs to be.

This place is basically a bona-fide institution of Penticton when it comes to tasty and quick sandwiches. This is definately a local favorite having grown up; if you're visiting, stop by, you won't regret it.

Yummy. Order your 2 or 4 meat sandwiches and choose from a dizzying selection of meat, cheese bread and assorted spreads. Plus they sell a selection of imported goods, have a cold drink cooler and a very very small seating area. Best to order to go and expect lineups around lunch. Good food takes time to make!

This has been favorite place to get sandwiches for the last 10 years. The sandwiches are amazing and the staff is top notch.

Before covid this WAS the best place to get your sandwich. However as they no longer have a *cash only* sign and this is a pandemic where we all use card I forgot. I had already waited for people who came in AFTER me to be served before me. Then told to come back for pick up and wait behind 20 teenagers with cash. Until you get better organized I will be recommending not to go here to my friends in family. Perhaps after COVID. This was the worst experience I've been through service wise in years. Not healthy for someone with an auto immune disease.

Il Vecchio has the most incredible sandwiches. I love the selection of meats and cheeses and the sun-dried tomatoes are the best touch. The cheap price can't be beat. I love supporting a small local business! A must check out if you're visiting Penticton!

Il Vecchio serves a custom heart filled sandwich isled among savoury grocery items for the Italian food connoisseur. This is one of the few places you can get anchovies and cheap caviar for the home. Kind friendly local service fills the appetite with small town warmth.

I really enjoyed this place! Great selection of deli meats and specialty cheese for custom sandwiches or use their menu guidelines to help you make a choice! Pick a sandwich or Panini and pair it with a delicious salad or soup! They also have an eclectic selection of European style dried goods for purchase. My only knock is that this place can get busy and only takes cash!

Omfg so good. I can't even hope to adequately describe how good the sandwiches are. And the prices are more than fair. Lots of hidden goodies in the store as well.

Love this place. 6 Bux for an awesome sandwich. Deli meats are the same price or cheaper than the regular grocery store, and the quality is by far better!! They also sell European chocolates and marzipan. So very happy I found this little gem, just wish they were open on Sundays or Mondays when I do my usual grocery shopping for the week, I usually end up having to buy my sandwich meat for the week somewhere else, and it makes me sad...lol.

Great place, really loved it. My youngest was full but kept eating because it was so good. Sandwiches were amazing stacked high with lots of good stuff. The different meat and cheese were fantastic. This is a must for a trip to Pentiction. Been looking for a good Rubin west of Winnipeg and these guys hit it out of the park. Perfect old school deli.

Amazing sandwich

Came in for a quick lunch last Saturday. Boyfriends first time having a sandwich. Made to our specifications and super delicious.

Simply one of the must-do things to get done in Penticton. Bring cash, stand in a short line with other people, order a sandwich, give them a blow by blow choice of what you want on it, see them wrap it in brown paper, pay for cash (no credit card), and walk over to the park along the beach to EAT IT!!!

Excellent sandwiches here at reasonable prices. They take care to properly cook your panani. Only downside is that it takes about 15 minutes. There are 3 tables for seating inside. Cash only.
